When I saw that the Commuter Student Association had tickets for The Last Dinner Party, I was definitely interested in going. I texted my friend about the concert immediately and was pretty excited to have something to look forward to after a long and tiring Monday.Â
I didn’t know much about The Last Dinner Party, and had never heard of the opener, Florence Road. However, I left that concert a newfound fan. Both bands were fantastic and kept the audience captivated. My friend and I were right at the barricade, so another entertaining part of my night was watching the new trainees that the State Theater was training. One guy looked so concerned about the show and how the audience was reacting to the performance.Â
Someone in the line outside of the venue said that The Last Dinner Party was amazing to see live; they definitely weren’t lying.Â
