Packed with anxiety-inducing moments, tiny heartfelt moments, and surprisingly funny moments, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come was an outstanding film. Rated a 6.7/10 on IMDb, 73% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 90% on Fandango, the movie picks up right after the events of the first film, Ready or Not (2019).
I was thoroughly entertained with the second installment of the storyline. A few of the people that I talked to about this film were not happy with the second movie, saying that the first one was much better. The cast includes Samara Weaving as Grace, the unfortunate bride who must fight for her life; Kathryn Newton as the estranged sister; Elijah Wood as the lawyer; Sarah Michelle Gellar; and Shawn Hatosy as a set of psychopathic twins, along with many other great actors and actresses.
The premise of the movie? Weaving’s character was so incredible at surviving the game of hide-and-seek with her in-laws that she advanced to a more intense round. Having to protect her sister while also attempting to secure the head seat of the council for herself, ultimately ruling the world.
I enjoyed the ending of this film because it gives you hope that Grace has a good ending. Many people didn’t like the addition of the sister, saying that her character was bland or unneeded. Personally, I loved the choice of adding Newton to the plot. I think this gave Grace something to look forward to after all the nightmares were over. I don’t believe that she would have had the same fight in her if her sister’s life was not at risk.
To wrap up my experience of watching the movie, I promptly went to Letterboxd and left my review, “Moral of the story? Never get married.”

If it was not for Samara Weaving , who single handedly held this movie together with her sheer amazing raw talent and will, the movie would be a waste of time.
