The University of Southern Maine is restructuring library services at its Lewiston-Auburn Campus due to very low physical book usage and growing reliance on digital research tools. The library will stop operating as a traditional lending library.
On Jan. 13, a car crash occurred on I-95 in Waterville, knocking two Maine Department of Transportation (DOT) workers off a bridge in Waterville and killing them. Two other DOT workers suffered non-threatening injuries.
