Criminal mischief was reported at Portland Hall. A fire extinguisher was discharged into the hallway.
Criminal mischief was reported on the Gorham campus. Someone had covered the rhino art display in front of Corthell Hall with shaving cream.

Criminal mischief was reported at Portland Hall. A fire extinguisher was discharged into the hallway.
Criminal mischief was reported at Portland Hall. Another fire extinguisher was discharged into the hallway. Det. Sgt. Ron Saindon said that this sort of mischief is a safety hazard for students because it causes the fire alarm to go off and students to evacuate the building. It is also a safety hazard for the community because the emergency response vehicles are unable to respond to other emergencies while attending to the false alarm.

Criminal mischief was reported in Gorham. A mirror on a vehicle was broken while parked overnight in the G-16 lot.

Harassment by phone was reported in Gorham. This is currently under investigation.
Criminal mischief was reported in Gorham. A motor vehicle was damaged while parked overnight on campus.
A hit-and-run was reported in Portland. A vehicle left the scene of an accident in lot B-2. A student had come out of class to find damage to the vehicle. Det. Sgt. Saindon said that people will be charge with leaving the scene of an accident if caught.
Harassment by phone was reported in Gorham. This is currently under investigation. It is believed by the police department that the two cases of telephone harassment are related, but Saindon says that he does not believe that the callers know the victim; that is it a random prank.
A student at Portland hall reported a burglary into his room. Nothing was reported missing. The case is under investigation.
Nov. 7
In Gorham a drug violation was reported and was referred to the office of Community Standards.
Nov. 8
At 7;30 p.m. at the corner of Bedford and Surrenden Streets, Officer William Soper arrested Rebecca Issa, 38, of Portland, for assault. Soper was trying to assist intoxicated Issa after she had fallen. She threw punches, then threw dirt in his face as he tried to arrest her.
