Huskies know how important Pingo is to the student population. Pingo, also known as prize bingo, is always a huge success. On Sept. 25, there was a line formed down in Lower Brooks that went all the way up the stairs and practically out the door. This line started forming with Kayden Lyman, a third-year student who decided to show up at three thirty. With the event opening at seven thirty, there were some funny looks at the small line that was forming so early in the evening. When asked why they showed up to the event so early, they said, “I wanted to wait that long, mostly because I had nothing better to do, but also out of spite. I wanted to be first.”
Prizes for the night included a TV, a MacBook and Airpods, a Nook, a camera, a Keurig, and of course, the biggest grab was the Nintendo Switch 2. Even though Lyman showed up first for the event, they sadly only walked away with a free drink gift card to Aroma Joe’s.
Don’t worry if you missed Pingo; this event happens multiple times during the year. Keep an eye out for the event on CampusGroups so you can attend.
