On Tuesday, sixth-year graduate student Rachel Shanks broke the program record for most career points after recording an assist in a 19-3 loss to the Colby College Mules. The record was previously held by Jessica Knight (2007-10), who recorded 248 points in her three-year career with the Huskies. Shanks currently leads the Huskies with twenty-seven goals and three assists in seven games.
The Huskies will play seven more games, including six LEC matches, before playoffs begin on April 30. With more than half of the season remaining, Shanks is on the verge of breaking two more records, including most goals scored in a single game and most points in a single game.
