FP: Why did you choose USM? Was it more athletics or academics related?
TB: I chose to come to USM because I wanted to challenge myself academically. Sports didn’t have anything to do with me choosing this fine academic institution.
FP: Did you transfer from another school to USM?
TB: Yes. I transferred to USM from New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, N.H.
FP: How would you describe the experience you’ve had at USM so far?
TB: So far I’m having a great time at USM. I’ve had the chance to meet some really great people and being able to help turn the lacrosse program around has been one of the great highlights of my time here.
FP: You play attack — if you had to play any other position, what would it be and why?
TB: I would have to say goalie. I’m not really sure the reason why I would choose goalie but I find it fun and challenging. When you make that big save for your team, it can really get the guys going.
FP: How would you rate and describe all the people in the athletics program that make the experience great for all the athletes here at USM?
TB: I really like the fact that most of the people in the athletics department know each athlete by name. They are always at the different sporting events, and most of all they are willing to do anything to help you out and make your experience great here.
FP: What has been your best personal sports moment since you’ve arrived at USM?
TB: Just about everything that happened with the lacrosse team last season. From going to California over winter break, to winning 11 games and making the semi-finals in the Little East Conference Tournament, it was all awesome.
