A white male, wearing a Celtic shirt, knocked on the door to the Admissions House and asked for a ride to Westbrook. The person was gone when USM police arrived.
Somebody reported the odor of marijuana in Upton-Hastings Hall. USM police were unable to locate the source.
USM police received a report that a group of people on the basketball courts were being too loud. The group left the area.
Apr. 19
USM police received a noise complaint about skateboarders in the roadway.
USM police received reports of fireworks around the area of Anderson, Woodward, and Russell Halls. Police were unable to locate the offenders.
USM police received a report of loud banging around the Facilities Management Department. The offenders were gone on arrival.
Apr. 21
A student reported her car had been hit by another vehicle in a student parking lot on the Gorham campus. The case is under investigation.
USM police charged Reuben J. Foss, of Gorham, with illegal transportation of liquor.
USM police received a complaint concerning the noises Phi Kap while on campus, were making with their marching and chanting. The case was resolved without incident.
Apr. 22
The John Mitchell Center was emptied due to a pile of smoldering mulch in front of the building. Smoke entered the building. The Gorham Fire Department responded to the call.
USM police charged Tyler Ravlo and Homer Smith, both 20 and of Gorham, with possession of alcohol by a minor by consumption.
Apr. 23
USM police arrested Andrew Loignon and Kyle Bryant, both 20 and of Gorham, for public indecency. Both Loignon and Bryant also received charges for consumption of alcohol by a minor.
