Steffen Morin, a junior women’s studies major and Andrea Thompson McCall, assistant dean at the Office of Student Life and the Interfaith Chaplain, helped to build a Sukka on Friday outside the Woodbury Campus Center in honor of the Jewish holiday Sukkot. A Sukka is a structure built by Jewish people around the world to honor and remember the days when Jews were nomadic. Professor of Public Policy and Management Mark Lapping, junior biology major Jamie Standish, Classified Staffer at the Center for Real Estate Education Gale Wortel, and intern at the Interfaith Chaplins Office Fran Bagdazarian, also helped to build the Sukka.
