Women in management conference
USM hosts the annual Women in Management Conference , now in its 24th year, from 7:30 a.m. -to 5 p.m on Tuesday May 4 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. Topics include energy management, dealing with sexual harassment, critical thinking, vocal presence, and sustaining life balance. The final workshop, “Getting to Your Car Safely,” will be a hands-on self-defense class with Kym Johnson, a fourth-degree black belt. The event costs $195.
