Students, faculty, staff invited to discuss long-term USM planning
President Pattenaude will hold forum Monday, March 15 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. in the Field House on the Gorham campus. Attendees will discuss the 2004-2009 Action Plan, titled “Transforming USM,” which the President’s office is distributing online (link). Attendees are asked to review the document before going. Upcoming seminar part of ongoing series on women’s interests
Women’s Resource Center is holding one of a series of lectures in its “Taboo Topics Series,” titled “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” on Wednesday, March 17. The event will be hold from 12 noon to 1 p.m in Portland’s Woodbury Campus Center. The series’ stated purpose is to “bring women together in consciousness-raising format to discuss menstruation, body hair, fat, spirituality, orgasm, pornography and the sex industry, bisexuality, women and racism, and much more.” For more information, call 780-4996.
