“War Takes,” a documentary film from the nation of Columbia, focuses on personal stories about drug trafficking and political violence. It is showing at SPACE, 538 Congress Street, Portland. “An Evening of One Man Comedy” produced and performed by Tim Collins will take place at the St. Lawrence Arts and Community Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland. There will be a discussion of Bill McKibben’s book “Hundred Dollar Holiday – The Case For A More Joyful Christmas” as part of this year’s convocation on sustainability.
