Criminal mischief was reported after someone discharged a fire extinguisher, setting off the fire alarm, on 7th Wood. “We have taken steps to help identify who is doing this,” said Detective Sgt. Ron Saindon. “We do have a suspect and are continuing to investigate.”
There was a drug violation, said police. It is being referred to the Student Conduct Committee.
Gorham residents reported loud music. The noise disturbance was resolved, police said.
Nov. 10
Fireworks exploded outside of Hastings Hall at night. Saindon said this is an potentiallly dangerous. “The biggest risk is that a fire could result from the explosion. There is a big risk for setting fireworks off, especially close to a residence hall.”
Nov 13
A person was stuck in the elevator in the science building, police said.
A person complained of a natural gas smell coming from the rear of the Law Building. Police notified Northern Utilities. Northern Utilities said the building was fine but there was a small leak, which was fixed.
Nov. 14
A deer was reported roaming on the baseball field. The deer finally jumped the fence, police said.
