To the Editor:
I’ll be honest: the only reason I am doing this is because all I have to do is point and click. I read your article on Marcy’s and I felt it didn’t pick up the whole vibe of what Marcy’s is exactly. I am very biased. I’ve been going there since I was 17, a junior in high school and all my punk rocker pals would go there after a night of crazy high school partying. Now, I still go as a junior at USM. The staff there has watched me grow and has always given it to me straight. That’s what Marcy’s is: they give you a straight up, all-American meal. What’s more American than a chili and cheese omelet? Back to my original thought. Marcy’s is a pocketful of change equals a stomach filled with breakfast. Example: ham and cheese omelet, the best buttered-toast, and kick-ass home fries for $3.75. And for a beverage, ice coffee with unlimited refills for a $1.25. This is sounding really lame, but hey, Marcy’s has treated me well and has often been my food for the day when lacking cash. Also it’s my bold option to have manly breakfast items for dinner. You should check it out first-hand.
Peace,
