REPORTED OFFENSE –INDECENT EXPOSURE
The USM Police Department is investigating a report of indecent exposure that occurred on Sunday, 9/16/2018 at approximately 2:15pm, wherein a female student was walking in the G-19 parking lot of the Gorham campus and was approached by a black or dark colored full sized SUV (unknown make or model and no license plate available). The SUV was driven by a male described as mid 20’s and unshaven; he was alone in the vehicle. The male asked the student for directions to a soccer game, and said that he had a problem with his GPS system. He asked the student to look at his GPS; from outside the vehicle the student observed that the male’s genitalia were exposed and he was masturbating. The student left the area to find a friend, who escorted her to the USM Police office to make a report.
USM Police checked the campus and off campus locations for the suspect, but he was not located.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
Male, mid 20’s, unshaven. Reportedly spoke with a heavy accent.
