Page said he will do his best to transform the System and effectively lead it through difficult economic times. “In meeting literally hundreds of stakeholders during the search process, I met no one who expressed satisfaction with the status quo,” he said. “But everyone I spoke with articulated passion for what the University System does and could do.”
Page was one of three candidates for the position, along with UMS Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration and Treasurer Rebecca Wyke and Meredith Hay, special adviser to the chair of the Arizona Board of Regents for Strategic Initiatives.
