What is a double-double?
This basketball term describes the feat of a player scoring at least 10 points in a game, and also getting at least 10 assists, rebounds, blocked shots, etc. The most common second statistic is rebounds.
“Double – double” denotes a pair of two-digit statistics. A “triple-double” happens very rarely, if ever, in college-level basketball, and consists of 10 or more points scored, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. This is a very busy person on the court.
Jaime Zahm had a pair of double-doubles (double-double-double??) against Plymouth State and Western Connecticut.
