Michael Densmore, 32 of Buxton, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. on University Way for operating under the influence. Densmore is due in court Nov. 29.
Monday, Oct.29
For his alleged involvement in the theft of The Free Press newspapers, Anthony Pergola was issued a summons and charged with theft. Pergola will appear in Portland District Court.
Tuesday, Oct.30
Cyrus Dalace of Philippi Hall was also charged with theft in connection to the disappearance of the newspapers. When asked about the matter, Dalace would not comment. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov.15.
Jonathan McCorkill was also charged with theft related to the disappearance of issues of The Free Press.
Coincidentally, when the officers were issuing him a theft summons, they found he had an outstanding warrant out for failure to pay fines. He was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Jail. In relation to the theft charge, McCorkill is to appear in court Nov.15.
Jay Stamp, 20 of Philippi Hall, was issued a summons for theft after removing a University parking boot from his vehicle.
Thursday, Nov. 1
The dumpster near the loading dock at the Brooks Student Center went up in flames at approximately 3:41 a.m. Police believe this to be suspicious and are currently investigating.
