Free Press: How long/how many comics have you drawn for the Free Press?
Jack Duffy: I started submitting comics to The Free Press in 1998. Since then I’ve created about 300.
FP: Are your comics printed anywhere else?
JD: Occasionally I’m lucky enough to see my work printed in The Funny Times, but currently I’m not submitting to any publications. My work can also be found on www.wblm.com and also at www.duffycartoons.com.
FP: If you could exhibit your comics any where in the universe where would you
JD: Exhibit them? Over George W. Bush’s face.
FP: What tools do you use to draw the comics?
JD: I freehand all of my drawings, scan them and clean them up in Photoshop.
FP: What do you want to do with yourself?
JD: Make an exercise video.
FP: Do you have any other ambitions or dreams for your comics?
JD: Not at the moment.
FP: Do you read other comics?
JD:?I love The Far Side and Billy Duffy. Other than that, I’m not interested in most comics.
FP: What else are you into?
JD: Being with my wife and my family, The Beatles, Django Reinhardt, The Simpsons, music, friends, Age of Empires and being creative.
