Dan Mills, director of the Bates College Museum of Art, will speak at Robie Hall in Gorham April 1. Mills’ lecture is the final installment of the USM Art Gallery’s Lecture Series in the Visual Arts. It is free and open to the public.
Mills, who is both a curator and an artist, is the creator of the book “U.S. Future State Atlas,” a series of satirical drawings that criticize United States foreign policy, especially the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.
According to a press release Mills will discuss is artwork, that of other artists, and his work curating art exhibits.
