Women’s lacrosse is a unique game with some strange rules. Technically there are no lines that demarcate the playing field. Instead, out of bounds is determined by “natural boundaries.” These can include a pit of tigers, bleachers packed with cheering fans, a gang of drunks, a brick wall or whatever the referee officiating the game determines is the ‘natural boundary.’ If you don’t believe, head out to a women’s lacrosse game this spring.
