An assault was reported behind Joe’s Smoke Shop on Congress Street in Portland. USM Police contacted Portland Police. The person who was allegedly assaulted did not press charges.

Two students in Dickey-Wood were reported arguing about “marijuana and a girl.” When an officer arrived, they said they were just having a “friendly argument.”

A burglary was reported in Gorham.

A flat screen monitor was stolen from a computer in Luther-Bonney hall. There was damage to one of the monitor’s cords, which was cut by the thief.

A student who lives off campus reported an incident of harassment on campus.

Four males with alcohol were reported behind the John Mitchell Center in Gorham. They were gone when police arrived to investigate.

A teenager was extremely drunk and vomiting in Gorham. His parents were called to pick him up, and he will be charged with criminal trespassing.

A separate teenager brought to the station, chorged with criminal trespassing and taken away by his parents.

A door in Upton was kicked in and had to be repaired before it could close and lock again.

Feb 17

Seth Therrien, a Gorham resident was arrested after a car accident behind the Towers. His blood alcohol level was 0.22%.

Feb 18

A Portland town resident complained of harassing phone calls from a USM number in Gorham. USM Police talked to someone who denied making the calls.
