For 7 consecutive years, USM has partnered with Northcoast Recycling, the City of Portland, the Portland Seadogs, and Trioano Waste to bring the Greater Portland community an annual free electronic waste recycling day. Don’t miss your chance to receive free tickets to SeaDog games or catch a glimpse of Slugger as you drive by. If you have those old electronics piling up at home, bring them down to the 7th Annual Free Electronic Waste Recycling Day! The best part is, you don’t even have to leave your car, we will unload it for you.

In lieu of donations, we will be accepting cash donations to go towards the USM Student Emergency Fund.

USM has established a program to help students in emergency situations.  

Students may request funds for an emergency situation, or for unanticipated and compelling circumstances that jeopardize their ability to successfully continue in school. Student Emergency Funds will be provided in the form of grants, awards will be determined by committee based on the individual need. Award amounts typically range from $100 to $500. Decisions regarding amount and disbursement of funds are made on a case-by-case basis. Awards are not considered loans and do not require repayment. Some funds may be considered income and are therefore subject to federal taxes.
