University of Southern Maine men’s track team finished third in the 2012 New England Alliance Championship and second in Little East Conference scoring Saturday at the USM Field House in Gorham. UMass-Dartmouth won the Little East Conference 177 to USM’s 132 and took the alliance title, scoring 145 points to Westfield’s 94 and Southern Maine’s 91.
USM women’s track sweep their 12th straight New England Alliance and LEC Championships

The University of Southern Maine women’s track team swept the Little East Conference and Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference to capture their 12th straight New England Alliance and LEC Championships Saturday at the USM Field House. The lady Huskies won by a 205 to 1324 margin over UMass-Dartmouth in the Little East and 168 to 136 over Worcester State for the Alliance title.
